Mushy Day Mushy days, are my favorite ones. They are not too many, but luckily they come. A mushy day is crumpled, flipped, sticky, dazzling, and fearless. Today is a mushy day, from soup to nuts.
"A Mushy Day" is an original work by Gaia Stella, depicting a scene from "Something is about to happen on a serpentine road." In this scene, a bear on a wall leisurely watches as a snake chases a mouse on an asphalt road and licks an ice cream. The Mushy Day pattern, featuring only the image of the bear, is created by selecting and repeating the pattern, matching light gray with a solid brown color to bring the warm tone and texture of the original work to a 40s fabric.
To recreate the tactile feel evident in the original drawing, we conducted several samples, but as the desired color scheme did not emerge, we changed all brush strokes to solid colors. We preserved only the remaining outlines along the edges and proceeded with a monochromatic dyeing process.
