Cottage Flower Pattern

Cottage Flower is a pattern that imagines a bundle of flowers that each grow freely, tied together. Real and unreal flowers fill the canvas in an organic form. This pattern, presented in collaboration with KBP® and Liv Lee, is a limited production.
Liv Lee is an illustrator based in Australia who draws inspiration from the forms, textures, and patterns of plants that inhabit Australia. She approaches nature with a childlike curiosity and discovers various forms of patterns based on her fun interpretations.

The original version of the pattern was a riso print image, but it was digitized and modified to match the KBP color guide for the collaboration project. The pattern is completed by repeating the pattern of the artist who mainly works on image within a rectangular or square frame. Due to limitations in fabric production, the unit size was smaller than intended, and it took a lot of time to implement the seven colors in harmony. Each unit has a size of 34x38cm, so the pattern layout is different for each product, and some products may only include some colors depending on their size. The Cottage Flower pattern was produced in a plain weave of 40s yarn and released as curtains, bedding, cushions, bags, and pouches.
