Jungeun Lee is a textile designer and weaver based in New Zealand and Korea. She explores various textile craftsmanship techniques and interprets them into three-dimensional or flat forms, applying them to spaces. The Lattice Mosaic, born through this creative process, is created by weaving tapes in a collage-like manner, similar to weaving. Through the recombination and repetitive patterning, the current Lattice Mosaic pattern was completed.

The colors of the Lattice Mosaic pattern consist of toned-down yellow, dull shades of sky blue, and grayish green. To achieve the desired harmony of the three colors, multiple sample works were created and dyed with direct dyes on a 40s plain weave fabric.
Lattice Mosaic series is presented alongside the artist's original weaving works. These eight pieces, woven in different colors, showcase the flow of work that organically connects collage to pattern and further to weaving. The artworks, made with 100% wool material, are firm and thick, expressing the artist's experimental process and context in pattern and color. You can enjoy them at kittybunnypony's offline and online stores.
